The Accurate Boss Valiant BV-500N Single-Speed Lever Drag Reel is new for 2017! Using the latest in manufacturing technology, Accurate is able to produce reels that are incredibly lightweight, yet strong enough to easily handle big fish! The BV-500N brings more capacity in a narrow spool that is perfect for jigging and bottom fishing. Anglers on the West Coast love this style reel because with the taller frame the line collects better onto the reel when jigging. It is also less work for the angler to guide the line onto the reel. The BV-500N is constructed of aluminum and features Accurate's patented TwinDrag system that puts out 30 lbs of drag at max. It has stainless steel gears that can handle big fish and will last a long time, stainless steel ball bearings, and a huge anti-reverse bearing for precision and performance. This bearing eliminates the chance of failure. There is a clicker on the sideplate. The lever drag system is progressive with a single stop at strike and no button to push when you want to move towards full. Together, all of these features adds up to a reel that weighs just 14.5 ozs! Accurate is now making a version of this reel that is specifically designed for slow pitch jigging. The BV-500N-SPJ differs from the regular verison in that it has a longer handle with a very cool long offset aluminum knob, no clicker and it doesn't come with a clamp set though you can purchse one if you need it. It weighs a bit more due to the large handle. These models are all silver.  

Accurate Boss Valiant BV-500N and BV-500N-SPJ Single-Speed Lever Drag Reels have a 6:1 gear ratio. The 500N are silver/red while the SPJ models are all silver. Choose from right and left handed models.

It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.
