From a Small Family Shop to a Trusted Fishing Gear Supplier
J&H Tackle has been a family run business since its inception over twenty-five years ago. Our family has been in the fishing tackle business for over fifty years, when Harry was a buyer for Herman’s Sporting Goods on 42nd Steet in New York City. Ten years ago we expanded to the web and that opened up an entirely new, group of fishermen to us.
What We Do
While we specialize in selling name brand fishing equipment at low prices, it is our knowledgeable staff and friendly atmosphere that turns new customers into regulars. It is our philosophy that whether you walk into our store or speak with one of our online representatives, you will be treated with respect and we will do our very best to help you with your fishing needs.
Rod/Reel Repair
We have a great team of anglers with decades of experience repairing rods and reels. Bring in a rod or reel to repair and it will be done to our high standards. We can repair most major brands of reels but their are some exceptions. We will also tell you if we feel the cost of the repair would exceed the value of your reel.

We strongly believe that fishing is not only a great sport but also a lifestyle, and treat it as such. We hope you do too.
