Dark Matter Psychedelic Casting Rods were made to pair with Avet fishing reels. After 3 long years of development, production delays due to the Covid-19 virus, and shipping delays, this amazing new line of thoughtfully constructed, high-powered and stylish fishing rods has finally arrived! They are available in two models and eight colors that match Avet reels perfectly. With so many color options, gone are the days of spending $500 or above for a custom built off-color rod. Just grab a Psychedelic rod and go slay em! The rod starts with a high-modulus M3 Carbon Nano blanks that is ridiculously sensitive as well as incredibly powerful, giving you the ability to not only detect even the slightest offering, but the ability to yank fish out of tight structure without worrying about blank integrity. Additionally, you can use the heavier Z for trolling and live bait applications. The X is an incredibly versatile rod that can be used here in the Northeast for anything from fluke to tog. It features Fuji Alconite guides and a Fuji graphite reel seat with trigger and locking nut. The heavier duty Z is outfitted with Alps Alconite Guides and matching colored Alps heavy duty aluminum reel seat and gimbal butt. Our custom made, highly tacky grips have the Dark Matter logo etched in a spiral pattern. No worries about slippage here, I don’t care how nasty they get. The etched DM color also matches the rest of the rod to complete a beautiful package.

To make things super easy we have paired the X with an Avet SXJ G2 5.3. The Z gets the MXL G2 5.8. The hard part is going to be choosing which color you want.

Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US (Gift cards excluded). Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
