It starts with the blanks which have been engineered to have the correct actions and tapers for throwing lures, tins and bucktails from the beach. These surf rods are a great balance of power and sensitivity to help you make long casts, work lures and control fish in good and bad conditions. Tsunami SaltX II Surf Spinning Rods are outfitted with Fuji Titanium SiC Guides to reduce weight and increase casting distance. They work great with braided fishing lines. The Fuji TVS graphite reel seats are ergonomic and are basically a heavier duty version of an inshore reel seat. This reduces bulk and makes it very comfortable in the hand. The grips are Shrink wrap over EVA and are designed for comfort and increased grip, even under water. Tsunami SaltX II Surf Spinning Rod are available in four great models. Available sizes are 7'7", 8'7", 9'7" and 10'7". Someone at Tsunami is living the lucky number seven lifestyle! The 7'7" is onepiece while all other models are two-piece with a 70/30 split. They feature a three-year limited warranty.

Free Standard Shipping on Orders of $100

Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US (Gift cards excluded). Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
