The Jig and Bounce series features two models that were designed specifically to meet John's needs. The first is a 6'2" ML that John will primarily use for snap jigging. The second is a terrific all around jigging rod. The 6'3" M weighs in at just 5.4 ozs yet can easily handle big inshore fish. It's rated 1-5 ozs and is extremely versatile! Both models are built on a lightweight yet sensitive Dark Matter blank constructed of Korean M3 Nano Carbon. They feature Fuji alconite guides that are made for braided fishing lines. The 6'2" ML has cork grips and a graphite Fuji reel seat while the 6'3" M features the Dark Matter Tacky Grips and a Fuji VSS reel seat that is ergonomic and extremely comfortable. Her'es what John has to say about this series: "From the first time I fished with the final version of the original Jig and Bounce casting rod, I knew I also wanted a spinning version built with the same components and action for jigging and bottom fishing. Some anglers prefer spinning gear for fluke jigging, especially when fishing the up-drift side of a party boat. This is an excellent fluke jigging rod because it was built using the lessons learned while developing the Jig and Bounce casting version. Grip material is an often-overlooked detail on a rod, but this uses the same high quality anti-slip components as the casting version. The grips are a product of the golf club industry, but they excel at preventing slippage caused by fish slime and Gulp juice. I especially wanted a rod like this for snap jigging the deeper Long Island Sound rips for stripers and sea bass, as well as for blackfishing in environments where light tackle jigging isn’t practical due to deep and fast-moving water. The final version of the rod was tested bucktailing and live-lining 10-50 lb Goliath Grouper in Florida, where it proved it will handle any striper or blackfish that comes its way."

It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.
