St Croix 2020 Avid Surf Spinning Rods

The 2020 Avid Surf has been given a makeover. Gone is the red paint job of the previous generation and replaced with a muted charcoal gray that will blend in with your surroundings, especially when fishing at night. The Avid is constructed of SC III graphite that is lightweight, sensitive and powerful. The actions in these rods are excellent and will help you get longer casts and feel every bite. They have been outfitted with Fuji Alconite K-Frame guides that are made for braided lines and will reduce tangles while increasing casting distance. Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US (Gift cards excluded). Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
