Daiwa Saltiga Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rods

Daiwa Saltiga Slow Pitch Jigging Casting Rods are really nice! This is Daiwa's top of the line slow pitch series and the quality and performance matches the Saltiga name. They are constructed of Daiwa's HGV Nanoplus Graphite that is really strong but delivers the perfect slow pitch action you are looking for. Daiwa has outfitted them with Fuji Titanium SiC Guides and Fuji Graphite R Seats with a trigger. The Saltiga Slow Pitch Rods are incredibly lightweight with the heaviest version weighing only 5 ozs! Daiwa is able to keep the weight down by using a 1 1/4" EVA foregrip and a split rear grip that is mostly rod blank. One of the coolest features of this series is that the H, XH and XXH it can handle a lot more weight. We're talking jigs up to 28 ozs when fishing the XXH! If you're looking to fish slow pitch style, this is one of the best rods on the market. It works great, especially when you hook into something big that would traditionally outmatch you. Pair it with your favorite conventional reel and you are good to go!
