Dark Matter Custom Standup Rods are made in the USA and are designed to deliver the best in offshore performance. These rods are built on a lightweight yet powerful Calstar blank that has the right amount of flex so that it does a lot of the work when fighting a big tuna. They have been outfitted with top of the line Winthrop Express wind-on roller guides that are lighter in weight than other guides and allow your swivel to pass through them. The aluminum straight uni-butt is detachable so you can take your reels home with you or easily lock them up for safe keeping after a fun day on the water. We've fished and handled a lot of standup rods over the years and this is simply the best.
