Dark Matter IO Casting Rods

Dark Matter IO Casting Rods are that inshore/offshore rod you've been searching for. They are loaded with technology starting with the M3NANO Korean carbon blank that is lightweight, powerful and very sensitive. They have been outfitted with spiral wrapped Fuji Alconite K-Guides that are designed for braid.The EVA fore and rear grips have been hourglassed for a custom feel that is ergonomic and will provide excellent grip, even when wet. The Fuji graphite reel seat has a trigger that will accommodate your favorite compact conventional or baitcasting reel. At the bottom is a rubber butt cap that can handle abuse and won't hurt you if you decide to fish the rod in your hip. There are three models and each one is designed for jigging and bottom fishing. Choose the model that is best for your type of fishing based on how much weight you will be dropping down, how fast the current is and the size and strength of the fish are. The lure ratings have been purposefully kept low for optimal results but you can go a little above each one if you are a competent angler. Dark Matter IO Casting Rods are available in three different models ranging from 7'-7'6". They are rated L, M and MH. This rating might confuse you if you are used to fishing other inshore rods. If that is what you normally fish, these perform one power up. So the L would be a M. These are some of the sharpest rods on the market. The carbon wrap looks amazing and the purple checks add a touch of flair that is missing from most fishing rods.

Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
