Gibbs Polaris Popper Wooden Surf Lures

Gibbs Polaris Poppers deliver results like no other lure on the market today, and have been doing it for a long time. The key to the Polaris Popper’s success is its large face which catches the water with ferocity, and small neck that helps the popper swim properly. The Gibbs Polaris Popper should be fished according to the conditions of the surf on any given day – as audible splashes are heard down in the water column, you will need to judge the force in which you pop your Polaris. On big surf days, you’ll obviously need to give it a little extra, and vice versa on calmer days. You can stop your popper mid retrieve to mimic a baitfish on its way out – a lethal method when targeting any predatory fish as they enjoy expending minimal effort to feed themselves. Gibbs Polaris Poppers are equally effective when thrown from the boat, but are designed as surf plugs.

Gibbs Polaris Poppers are available in 1, 1 ½, 2 ¼, and 3 ½oz sizes and come in blue, white, mackerel, rainbow, bunker, yellow, red head, pogie and parrot. Like all Gibbs lures, the Polaris Popper is made from the finest quality American timber, and handcrafted locally in Rhode Island.

Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US (Gift cards excluded). Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
