They replace the inner spool, outer spool, clutch and drive plate bearings. While there are eight ball bearings in these reels, these four are the ones that fail most often. By replacing the standard Avet bearings with these ABEC-7 ceramics the reel will be significantly more corrosion resistant, smoother and you will gain a little speed. Why risk your bearings freezing up while you are on the water? Buy this upgrade and make your Avet reel bulletproof!
