It starts with their 5-D Graphite system that takes into account vertical axis, horizontal axis, oblique axis, elongation and elasticity to weave a blank that is perfectly optimized for its intended fishing technique. This reduces weight, transitions load throug the rod more efficiently and creates a smoother taper. Megabass has also reduced weight in the head locking structure as well as the tread used to wrap the guides. On the surface these might sound like small things but they will not only make the rod function better but will increase sensitivity so you won't miss a single hit. Megabass Destroyer P5 Casting Rods are outfitted with Fuji Titanium Frame SiC S Guides which are perfect for braided and fluorocarbon lines. Orders of $100 or more will receive free standard shipping (3-5 business days) within the Continental US (Gift cards excluded). Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - Online

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
