Okuma Makaira Trolling Standup Rods were designed to work in unison with Okuma Makaira Reels. These standup rods are constructed of a carbon composite material that is both lightweight and powerful. Okuma equipped the Makaira rods with ALPS roller guides and ALPS heavy-duty aluminum reel seats. The fore and rear grips are shrink tube and are extremely comfortable. An aluminum gimbal on the back end completes what is a really nice set of rods. Okuma Makaira Trolling Standup Rods are perfect for when you are on the troll for big tuna or big shark!
Okuma Makaira Trolling Standup Rods are available in several models. Pairs perfectly with Okuma Makaira Reels or any of your favorite offshore trolling reels.
