A Penn Squall SQL50VSW 2-Speed Lever Drag Reel pairs perfectly with a Sloopster F5 Offshore Trolling Standup Rod. Together they form an affordable combo that you can use to catch tuna and shark. The Penn Squall SQL50VSW features all the same internals as its aluminum International brother, but with a lightweight graphite body and sideplates. Penn has reinforced the reel with "V" architecture to make it extremely rigid, even under heavy loads. The drag system is extremely powerful, putting out 40 lbs of fishing stopping power at max. Full featured standup rods are expensive, but the Sloopster F5 Rod defies this. It was designed to deliver all the features you want in a standup rod, but at an affordable price. With an E-Glass blank that has the backbone to tame big pelagics, PacBay wind-on guides with big knot clearance and an aluminum uni-butt, the F5 is the best bang for your buck on the market today.
