I paired this rod with a stradic 4000 with 15 lb braid and it casts pretty much everything from 1/4-1 ounce like a dream. It is also a very light combo which makes catching everything from snappers to albies very fun.
Shimano Southeast Teramar Inshore Spinning Rods are awesome for inshore fishing. These cork handled rods have actions that are specific to coastal and inshore fishing. The Teramar Spinning Rods are constructed of Shimano's TC4 blank material. They are extremely lightweight yet powerful. Shimano has built these rods with Fuji Concept Alconite guides, a Fuji graphite reel seat, and really nice cork fore and reargrips.
