Van Staal VS X2 Bailless Spinning Reels are nothing short of incredible! For years anglers have been fishing Van Staal reels and the X2 took into account over twenty years of fishing history to make improvements that anglers have been asking for. The new Van Staal VS X2 features a new unibody design with a longer foot that gives more clearance for anglers with bigger knuckles. Sounds funny but not all hands are created equal. Van Staal has repositioned the instant anti-reverse eliminating any back movement in the spool. Included with this new model are the popular PowerGrip handle knob and drag knob. These are now standard on the reel so you don't have to upgrade. Van Staal has also changed the series a bit the 100 size gets a faster retrieve and it now picks up 33.5" of line with every rotation of the handle. The 275 size is gone and replaced with the 300 which has also got a speed boost to 49.5" per crank. Everything you loved about the previous X-SERIES is in the X2. They feature the same industry leading sealing so you can splash, dunk or swim with these reels. Aluminum body, stainless steel gears and titanium internals make them rock solid! Van Staal VS X2 Bailless Spinning Reel are available in 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 sizes. The 150 and 200 models are available in right and left hand models. If you're ordering one of these make sure you choose the correct one. A right handed reel has the handle on the left side and a left handed reel has the handle on the right side. Don't worry, you're not alone. It's confusing for everyone. As a special treat, the 200 size will be available in gold. This is a limited edition model and will only be available when the series launches.

Your order must ship in a single box and have a dimensional weight of no greater 10 lbs. Many fishing rods and other long items that have a shipping dimension of over 60" do not qualify for free shipping. See individual item for details.

We do not do cash refunds! All refunds must be put on a credit card.

Credit Card & Debit Card Returns - In-Store

You have 5 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund. An item returned from 6 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase.

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund on a purchase made with a credit card or debit card online. All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. An item returned from 15 days to 30 days from the purchase date is eligible for a store credit. Item must be in brand new condition, unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt. Rods must have original tags. If you do not have a receipt you will be given store credit. It is your responsibility to ask for a receipt at time of purchase!
