Daiwa Coastal TWS Baitcasting Reels are designed for saltwater fishing but are at home in freshwater too. Daiwa has outfitted the Coastal TWS with 7 corrosion resistant ball stainless steel ball bearings to keep salt outside of the reel. It also features high strength gearing, an Ultimate Tournament Drag system that puts out 15.4 lbs of fish stopping power at max, and a really great 100mm swept handle with EVA grips. This longer handle is more comfortable and provides additional cranking power. The Coastal TWS comes standard with Daiwa's T-Wing levelwind system that reduces friction when casting.
