Daiwa has cut further weight out of the reel by making the drive gear out of G1 Duralumin. In conjunction with twelve corrosion resistant ball bearings, this make the Steez smoother and more durable. Daiwa has added a TWS levelwind system and a great cut-away 80mm swept handle with high grip I-shaped soft knobs.
