Maxel Ocean Max Lever Dual Drag Single-Speed 05 Jigging Reels

If you've never heard of Maxel, you may have heard of Jigging Master Reels. Maxel manufacturers those reels and has released the Maxel Ocean Max Lever Dual Drag Single-Speed Jigging Reels in the United States. These reels were specifically designed for jigging and are as powerful as they are pretty! The Ocean Max is constructed of aluminum with an aluminum frame, sideplate and handle. With their dual drag system, these reels put out anywhere from 32.6-54.4 lbs of drag at max! That is an incredible amount of power. The heat treated stainless steel gears inside of this reel are built to handle the kind of stress and torque when using so much drag.

While designed for jigging for big fish, the smaller sizes make great inshore reels for fluke, striped bass, bluefish, cod, grouper and more! 

Maxel Ocean Max Lever Dual Drag Single-Speed Jigging Reels come in eight sizes and are available in three colors. The 05 and 06 sizes now come standard with aluminum ball handles.
