Penn Conflict II 4000 Spinning Reels

Penn Conflict II Spinning Reels have been redesigned for 2018. The original Conflict was an upgraded Battle while the Conflict II shares more DNA with the Clash. These new reels are constructed of RR30, a very rigid carbon material that is strong but light in weight. By using RR30, Penn was able to shave off 20% of the weight from the original Conflict without sacrificing integrity. They have incorporated CNC machined aluminum main and pinion gears (5000 model has a brass pinion gear) that are strong and make the reel smoother than the original version. Penn Conflict II Spinning Reels are designed for inshore saltwater anglers who are throwing light braided lines. These reels have very slow oscillation so you can fish with 10-20 lb braid and it will cast further and significantly reduce wind knots. These reels feature seven ball bearings, a heavy duty aluminum bail wire and a powerful HT-100 carbon drag system that will stop big inshore fish in their tracks!
