Penn Fathom II Levelwind Reels

Penn Fathom II Levelwind Reels are designed for charter boat captains. These all metal reels are overbuilt in order to take a lot of abuse and keep on ticking. Penn's focus with this reel was to make it easy to clean and repair, something that is important to captains who take people out on the water 365 days a year. By removing four screws you can have access to the reel and not worry about springs or other small parts flying out of the reel. That is thanks to the new Fast Gear Access Side Plate. Penn added a fourth shielded stainless steel ball bearing to insure that the gearing is always perfectly aligned, even under heavy loads. With an HT-100 drag that puts up 30 lbs of drag at max, these reels can stop almost anything that bites the end of your line! For anglers fishing the Great Lakes, their are models with built in line counters. Penn has added a neat windshield wiper to the counter so you can wipe away condensation when you are on the water. Penn Fathom II Levelwind Reels are available in sizes 15, 20, 30 and 50 sizes. With the exception of the 50, all other sizes come in righty and lefty version with or without the line counter. All models come with a power handle, while the 15 comes equipped with a double paddle handle. There is a power handle in the box too. All models come with a clicker.
