Point Jude Butterfish lures are precision cut to imitate juvenile menhaden or bunker as they’re known in the northeast. Offshore, they imitate the butterfish – fare of big game species like tuna and mahi-mahi. Because of the short and compact design, these Butterfish lures absolutely BOMB, especially when thrown from a big surf stick. Deadly effective on the shores of Long Island to Cape Cod, the Point Jude Butterfish has tamed more than its fair share of cow stripers and gator bluefish.

Point Jude Butterfish lures are designed to flutter down in the water column, but can also be skipped across the surface to imitate a baitfish in distress when reeled at high speeds. They are available in 1.5, 2, and 2.5 oz and come with a single heavy duty siwash hook adorned with a flashy white bucktail.
