Product Highlights
Product Description
Shimano Talica A 2-Speed Lever Drag Reels deliver a performance upgrade over the previous generation. The original Talica is still one of the best reels on the market. It is class leading so for Shimano to change it means they made significant upgrades. The big one is the addition of Shimano's InfinityDrive technology. Brought over from the Stella, InfinityDrive is breakthrough design in the drag system which increases force while reducing side-load pressure. This leads to easier rotation of the handle when your fighting big fish or the reel is under heavy loads. I can't emphasize how much of a difference this makes in performance. The Shimano Talica A is an absolute pleasure to fish! Shimano also incorporated seals to keep salt and water on the outside of the reel. Internally, Shimano uses best in class gearing with seven ball bearings and their ample engineering prowess to create an amazing offshore reel. On the outside the reel has a smaller right sideplate for extra comfort and a great handle. If you love fishing saltwater for big fish, try a Shimano Talica A 2-Speed Lever Drag Reel!
Shimano Talica A 2-Speed Lever Drag Reels are available in the 12, 16, 20, 25 40 and 50 sizes. These reels are 2-speed. Made in Japan.

"Great real I have the 16 as well smooth as can be drag is also buttery smooth. More compact then the previous model and less drag pressure when your fighting a big fish, it doesn’t become harder to crank. All in all I’d recommend this reel to anyone and J&H gets them to you fast when you place an online order."
