Super Strike Little Neck Popper

Super Strike Little Neck Poppers are extremely durable, extremely versatile, and are incredible fish slayers! The beauty of these lures is that they can be fished in two ways – the traditional popping action that will entice dramatic surface strikes, and if you fish them slowly, they will give you the wobble of a metal lip swimmer that will tempt even the most sluggish bass. These lures have been used all over the world for species ranging from roosterfish to tuna to dorado, (I’ve even coaxed sailfish up to swipe at it before the ole’ bait and switch) but are most effectively utilized in the Northeast surf. Put at the end of a 10 foot surf stick, and you’re easily 100 yards out over the breakers and in the strike zone. Countless stripers and blues have fallen victim to the Little Neck Popper in the breakers off Long Island and Cape Cod.

Super Strike Little Neck Poppers are built using VMC saltwater resistant hooks and the same sturdy through-wire construction as all Super Strike lures are; you can rest easy knowing that your plug will come back in one piece after a long battle with a cow. The best way to fish the Little Neck Popper is a slow retrieve with multiple large pops, particularly in the wave troughs (the lure will then ride down the crest and this is where insane strikes come). The Little Neck Popper is available in 15 different colors (floating and sinking), and in the 1, 1.5, 2.25, 2.75 “heavy”,  3, and 3.75 “heavy” weights. The 3.75 “heavy” will absolutely BOMB when thrown with an appropriate surf stick.
